This is couple of Lugansk scam alert letters we received recently.

Quote:
I have been corresponding with a lady from Lugansk. She is now asking for money to continue email contact and is using an agency called "Your Time" Don't know if this is a front or even real. I do have her name, address and telephone number and if she is legitimate would like to set something up to communicate through your translation agency.

This was part of our reply :

Quote:

There are More than 170 Agencies operating in
Lugansk . Most of them are illegal - not even registered with state
or tax officials. Private individuals having web site or e-mail address stating they do legal Dating or Translation business Улыбка) We had many clients telling that they wasted their time using marriage agencies in Lugansk. Hope this is not your case. Sometimes it's the translator you write to not the lady and to tell this even having all the contacts is really
impossible. The lady can not be even aware of the fact you write to
her. Normally we do not interfere with marriage agencies unless the client (you and your lady) agrees to use our services because these agencies use only their translators .

This what we got after that:

Quote:
I have to conclude that I was being scammed and all this lady wanted was money which was probably shared with the internet/translation provider "Your Time" , that she was using.

David, I want to tell you one thing "this is the scam industry".

Never send money to the women in Lugansk you've never met before! Lugansk scammers can be very inventive and resourceful I know it well.
If you want to meet a woman just visit her country and meet her for real.

P.S. do NOT send money to somebody you have not met. As some of my friends say - a genuine Russian woman would better die of hunger and freezing cold than ask for any money from you.

"Victoria Nechaeva" - Pro-dater from Lugansk Ukraine

The "Model" dating agency scam.

Sites she is on : Anastasia #1100548; Many other sites, over a 30 with the #30121.

"A wise man learns from the mistakes and misfortunes of others, a fool learns them for himself"

For all those men who are sincerely looking for happiness in marriage with a kind and loving woman I will attempt to share information which will help you avoid this woman and all those like her. Learn from my misfortune, don't waste valuable time and money in pursuit of a lie.
FIRST - Viki is a woman who practices what is refered to as a "common Ukranian Scam". As this website states ( www.agencyscams.com/Advice.html )
"You correspond, you talk on the phone, you go and visit. You pay for everything, taxis, interpreters, gifts, you go back home. The girl loves your time together, you continue to correspond and maybe visit again. Where's the scam? The agency is making a fortune from your letters and visits, they want it to continue, but the never had any intention of a future with you. How can you spot this scam? You can't."
Over a period of one year I paid for over 400 letters between Viki and I, yes I said 400!!! This is why I was so sure that "our love" for each other was not a lie or scam. Unfortunatly after three trips and an amount of money that I am humiliated to say out loud I came to discover that just about everything I was told and led to believe was a lie.
I payed out thousands and thousands of dollars on gifts, trips, taxis, food, translators, gifts for friends and family, airline tickets etc... and in the end I was told that our "great love" was an "illusion". I laugh now but at the time I was devastated. This "illusion" emptied my checking account and left my heart broken. That really is an understatement, my heart was not just broken it was devastated, ripped out ...... well, words just don't seem to describe it. Let me put it this way, within a few months of this "illusion" I lost over 50 pounds. Yes, I'm glad to loose the weight, but this isn't a good way to diet. I don't recommend it for any one, male or female.
For now I'm posting some pictures of Viki. If you have met this woman, dated her or taken her on vacation would you share your experience with me? The sooner she and others like her are revealed for what they truly are the better it well be for sincere men who want nothing more than to find a kind and loving wife.
For now I am working on a web page dedicated to her scam. I will be showing how you can avoid what I went through, amazingly it is much easier and obvious then I might have ever realized.

Scam-free web site.

I joined recently one Dating web site http://www.lady-russia.w-ru.com which has no Lugansk scams only honest women from Ukraine and Russia, Many from Odessa and Kiev. Some friends of mine sent me the link to this russian dating site some days ago.
I hope this scam-free site http://www.lady-russia.w-ru.com can help men like me to find a good woman.

I used the site and I've met real girls that write their own letters, translate them by online translator and send them, there's chat also. I like it a lot. I think it's an honest company and they also carefully select the members, put the scams on the black list, block their profiles etc if you happend to meet scammers among their ladies. I've heard that the site owners had blocked many Lugansk scams, I know that this city has a very bad reputation.

One of the ladies Natalia Kr******* from Lugansk i met through date dot com even wanted me to meet her in Kiev, but she was a real scammer. I've been writing to this girl from Lugansk and she seemed to be very nice but in her 10th letter she asked me to send money 400 Pound Sterling (GBP) for 2 months of unlimited letter translation. I refused to and she dissapreared instantly. I know you shouldn't send money to somebody you have not met.

Due to a Great number of Hits with only one name of Maria Listickova Scam Artist I'd like to add something.

Ingulets is the city in Dnepropetrovsk region with only 32,2 thousand people. Now let's look at this info closer - can a small village translation company selling services survive in a small Ukrainian city like that - the answer is simple - NO. It would not be worth it even with 100% profit margin - but translation business has only 30 % profit margin tops Улыбка

Hello Wesley

Greetings from Lugansk Ukraine.

I own a private enterprise "VTC Global Company" - a real and legit translation company registered in Lugansk Ukraine. I hope I will be able to help you.

Below you can find some info about doing legit business ( translation one ) in Ukraine

Legit business in Ukraine means you have
to be an entrepreneur or to open a company to earn money.

You have to obtain registration documents issued at the city
council which allow you to do business. The most important
document is called "Certificate of State registration"
or in Ukrainian transliteration ( Svidotstvo pro Derzhavnu
Reestratiju) If any of the site owners does not have such
certificate - then it's just the case when individuals open
a web site and try to earn money illegally. Along with this
Certificate is another one TAX Certificate )
The so-called 4-OPP ( Dovidka) form which is given by the Tax inspection when you register to do business in Ukraine.
This certificate clearly shows that people pay Taxes for the business services they offer.

For a legal entity ( like my company) there are some other documents namely: the reference from the Statistics Authorities ( Dovidka ) saying that the company was registered and the director of the company is...., statute ( the main document governing the operation of the company), other certificates from 4 social funds ( like a pension fund etc...)

For an entrepreneur the "Certificate of State registration" should be of the red color but for legal entity ( company) it should be of the blue color.

Translation services in Ukraine do not require licensing.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I've never heard about the translation company ( Global Translate Company) you told us about. This sounds like another scams in Lugansk.

Though lots of people search with google.com for GLOBAL TRANSLATE CO LUGANSK and hit our forum and our sites in search of information. I can confirm it.

Women never pay for the services of such Dating-translation companies - which in fact are illegal marriage agencies ripping the guys off.

What I suggest is not to send any money to such @Translation companies@

I suggest to ASK FOR all the COMPANY documents of formation of this very company and request video chat to make sure the woman you write to is real. Use Skype or yahoo messenger Video chat - they are absolutely free.

Translation companies do not ask clients to send money to date ladies or to correspond with the ladies. Translation companies do not have ladies profiles Улыбка))) This is done by marriage agencies only.

I do think these scams do not clearly understand what is to have a legit translation company in Ukraine. Улыбка))

Manager: Irina Ivanova
Principal: Petr Kirilov

these are Just a bunch of individuals doing simple translation scam.

Manager = Principal = Director = Head of the company ( People who worked abroad know that Manager is not the Assistant - it's the director of the company, scams know nothing, they are not rocket scientists).

PostPosted: Thu Mar 11, 2010 9:51 pm    Post subject: LUGANSK DATING SCAMS - HOW TO AVOID THEM!

Only dating scams use women to coax money out of you....

if you want to know that the lady you write to is real ( at least) you have to do the following steps.

1. Ask @translation company@ to make a small video file ( can be easily done even with the cell phone) of the girl saying hello to you or saying some words that you write to them.

2. Tell this company that you would like to see the lady in video chat * skype calls with video are free) - to make sure she is real. or this girl is fake. you can even tell them that you would like to see her and if she's real you would pay for this service. You can not forge video chat ) though you can tamper the letters and phone calls....

3. If this girl is real on video - then go to Lugansk and ,meet her for real - not to waste money.

4. Illegal dating agency you use will insists on using their translators for big bucks as most of what they have written to you is not real. But you'll never know about that cause the translator will translate her/his own way.

5. Meet the woman with the agency translator and if you like her company - try to get the girl out of the agency. take her contacts, call her with independent translator or even try to date her on your own..

6. Never use the flat rent service with the agency - use independent flat owners, most of them on the web are agents on commission. We work with the owners only.

7. Never pay in advance for anything.

8. To bust these scams ask for the company formation documents, certificate of company formation or tax payer certificate. scanned , signed and sealed with the company STAMP ))

All the above will help you to find out if this lady and the agency is real or not

SCAM ALERT! Although some agencies take every step to ensure validity of every girl on their sites, some girls might have indecent intentions. Do NOT send money to girls. Report suspicious requests to the sites admins.
-----------------

IMPORTANT: Beware of scammers! On ANY dating site some women may try to extract money from men. Here are some of the stories they might employ:

- they need money for obtaining travel documents, or
- to cover the airfare, or
- to pay off some debt, or
- to travel to another city to get the visa, or
- for compensating a damage they accidentally inflicted to someone else's property while traveling trying to get to you,
- her disabled mother needs nursing care while she comes to visit you,
etc.

Those stories - are signatures of scammers. Send NO money. Scammers can get quite inventive and manipulative. Stay alert and use common sense - and you will not be scammed. If you receive any suspicious requests - please report them, so that site owners could investigate and take scammers offline or remove their profiles.

Name: Viñtoria Soldatkova
Phone: +38(066)002-55-92
Country: Ukraine
City: Lugansk
Address: 91055, Ukraine, Lugansk, Kotsyubinskogo street, dom 9, kv 22

Congratulations in making that next step to developing a successful relationship with your lady! We wish you both the best!

Included with the contact information you have received is your lady's full name, her phone number and address. Email addresses are not included because the majority of our lady members do not have personal email addresses. Internet costs in Russia and Ukraine are much, much more expensive than what is customary in other countries. For these reasons, many of our female members do not have internet and therefore, they also do not have personal email addresses.

Now that you have obtained your lady's phone number, we are sure you are ready to contact her right away. However, we hope you don't mind if we provide a word of
caution beforehand. Please be advised that prepaid mobile phone service is the only available cell phone service in Russia/Ukraine. Also, the cell phone coverage area in Ukraine and most of Russia is not as broad as in most other Western European countries and in the United States. Therefore, it is possible to experience difficulty contacting your lady if:

1. She ran out of prepaid minutes and hasn't yet purchased another prepaid card.
2. She is not in a good coverage area.
3. She turned off her phone.
4. She is sleeping or is at school or work.
5. She doesn't recognize your number and therefore doesn't answer the phone.

For these reasons, and in consideration of time zone differences, etc., we advise that you contact her via email or Chat and arrange a time that would be good for a phone conversation. Also, please keep in mind that because of the language barrier, it's a big deal for the majority of our female members to receive phone calls from our male
members. So scheduling a time to talk with her is a good way to allow her to prepare herself and find a quiet place so she can concentrate on the conversation.

If after the two of you have scheduled a phone date and you still have problems contacting her, contact Customer Support:

1. Go to www.dream-marriage.com.
2. Log in
3. Select the Contact Us link.
4. Copy our previous correspondence from your email and paste it in your new ticket.
5. In the new ticket, specifically ask for me.

And just one last thing, if you need assistance dialing abroad, we recommend viewing this site, www.howtocallabroad.com.

Thank you,
Dream-Marriage Team
